DropPay API - Bank v.1 - ISO 20022 Messages - Overview¶

To provide for the more efficient operation of the single euro payments area in the European Union, the European Parliament adopted Regulation 260/2012, according to which the data interchange between the client and the bank must use the message formats based on the ISO20022 XML standard.

DropPay offers its Restful API to request and control how ISO 20022 data are produced and delivered.

API exchanges JSON payloads. XML files are accessed directly through URLs instead, provided as attributes in the json itself.

DropPay support to ISO 20022 is currently limited to

• Cash Management (CAMT)
  • Bank to Customer Report (CAMT.052.001);
  • Bank to Customer Statement (CAMT.053.001);
• Payments Initiations (PAIN)
  • Customer Credit Transfer Initiation (PAIN.001.001);
  • Customer Payment Status Report (PAIN.002.001)

Rest HTTP requests are performed as all other DropPay APIs require you to: provide an User Access Token in the Authorization Header.
